It's not that i don't think about blogging more often, just that i don't actually, y'know, get down to doing it. There's something quite theraputic about sharing thoughts, ideas, dreams and passions with the masses however.

I was saddened when the police positively identified the body found in the woods as Nailah Franklin. What has hit home with me is that it could've been me or any of my friends. We go for days, not thinking that we're in any kind of danger. I drive home alone most nights...late nights. Anyone could come up to my car and try to abduct me. It's such a sad course of events because she was young, very pretty and excelling in her career. I sincerely hope that they catch whoever did this to her and that s/he is prosecuted to the highest extent of the law.

This entire situation that took place at Jena High School is terrible. Are we still living in the days where people have to march down the street to prove a point? I wonder if Martin Luther King is turning in his grave feelings as if he didn't do enough. I'm an African American man and I must say its frustrating hearing black's talk about racism and slavery all the time. I raise the question how important is our history. People always say you can't move forward unless you no where you come from. In most cases today it's where we come from that prevent us from moving forward.

I’m sure I don't have all the facts but O.J. what are you thinking. After you got away with two murders that everyone in the world feel you committed why you constantly bring unnecessary attention in your direction leaves me baffled. . O.J. is making everyone who supported the not guilty verdict look like a fool. It's an unwritten rule that if you are found not guilty of two murders you should stay out the public eye. O.J. you are coming out with a book that says "I did it" do you really feel you will get a fair trial.

It appears that Rex Grossman still hasn’t learned. The only thing that can prevent the Chicago Bears from winning another NFC title and going back to the Super Bowl is horrendous quarterback play. Why does Rex not get this? Better yet, why is the Chicago Bear organization so firmly behind this guy? What has he ever accomplished to warrant so much respect?
