Are we living in the 60's

This entire situation that took place at Jena High School is terrible. Are we still living in the days where people have to march down the street to prove a point? I wonder if Martin Luther King is turning in his grave feelings as if he didn't do enough. I'm an African American man and I must say its frustrating hearing black's talk about racism and slavery all the time. I raise the question how important is our history. People always say you can't move forward unless you no where you come from. In most cases today it's where we come from that prevent us from moving forward.

Jena was an obvious case of discrimination. I will be the first to admit it still exist it's just less obvious. Are we really at the point where the KKK is putting these young people information on websites so they could possibly be harmed? All the things black leaders have done for people and we are still at this point. I really feel sorry for these six individuals their life could possibly be over before it even started. This real really be sad if the Bush Administration doesn’t step in. I’m no fan of Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton but I will give them a chance to see if they can resolve this terrible situations.
